Chad is the mysterious producer for Jesus Chatline who is mostly only mentioned but has made an appearance on the 1984 show, Christ Show.
Not much information is known about Chad, though it is mentioned he is from Montclair, California along with Steven and Richard. Chad's job on the Jesus Chatline set is a producer and call screener. Chad usually messes up with screening the calls and is yelled at by Richard. In many episodes, when a caller yells profanity or racism and it cuts to break, Richard is heard yelling at Chad in the distance.
Chad continues to be a producer on Richard Burnish's new show The Ark. These days, he is significantly fatter and is mostly incompetent in all aspects.
